10 days yeah right!
Ok so it wasn't quite 10 days. We ended up taking 3 weeks from when we started until we moved in. I am astounded by how much we got done in 3 weeks! I may not have a kitchen sink yet... but this has been accomplished by sheer determination and great connections. We are so happy to have a house of our own that we can make our own. Kitchen when we got the house. Let the fun begin! We removed 2 walls to open it up. We decided to move the kitchen across which was a huge job because it meant moving plugs and water too. Good thing my husband is so clever! We also had to lay a new concrete topping to level out the floor where we removed the carpets. Tiling commencing! Ready to remove the tile cement because it needed to get done and hubby was sick in bed for 6 days straight. Just call me Bob (the builder) Pointless attempt to try and clean up!
